What to check next

Check the earliest shortfall and payment dates. Update estimates weekly; a positive final balance can still hide an earlier cash shortage.

How this is calculated

Enter money in the week it is collected or paid, including delivery payout delays. Put financing inflows in receipts and loan/tax payments in their column. Include only cash movements and avoid duplicate entries. No automatic borrowing, overdraft interest or tax rates are assumed. This is a weekly forecast, not a daily cash guarantee.

Closing cash = opening cash + receipts − payments. Next week starts with the previous closing balance. Cash shortfall = max(0, chosen reserve − lowest projected balance), including opening cash.

How each tool works & FAQ

Should I enter sales or cash collected?

Enter actual or expected cash collected. Credit sales belong in the week payment is expected.

Is the cash gap a loan recommendation?

No. It is a scenario gap against your chosen reserve, before deciding how to change operations or funding.
